BARELY five days after Thursday's Biu bomb blast, in Borno State, another simultaneous twin blast hit the Miringa junction, killing 14 people and injuring 13 others at about 8.35am Tuesday. BARELY five days after Thursday’s Biu bomb blast, in Borno State, another simultaneous twin blast hit the Miringa junction, killing 14 people and injuring 13 others at about 8.35am Tuesday.
According to an eyewitness, Pulgwa Fitikir, the bombs were simultaneously detonated by two suspected suicide bombers that alighted from separate tricycles at Miringa junction of Biu in the morning hours.
Biu is second largest town in Borno State, and 187 kilometres south of Maiduguri, the state capital.
