21 ships with petroleum products land Lagos ports

NO fewer than 21 ships laden with petroleum products, general cargo and foods have arrived Lagos ports, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Tuesday in Lagos.

The NPA announced this in its daily publication, ‘ Shipping Position,’ made available to newsmen in Lagos.

It said that 12 of the 21 ships were laden with rice, crude palm oil and general cargo.

The publication indicated that the remaining nine ships arrived with petrol, kerosene, diesel, aviation fuel and bulk gas.

It stated that 29 ships were expected to arrive Lagos ports between Feb. 3 and Feb. 23.

The document said 18 of the expected ships would arrive the ports with containers, while five ships would arrive with rice, bulk sugar and bulk wheat.

It indicated that five ships would arrive the ports with general cargo, while a ship would sail in with petrol. (NAN)
