33 ships laden with containers, petroleum products to arrive Lagos
THIRTY three ships laden with containers, foods and petroleum products are expected to arrive Lagos ports from Feb. 12 to Feb. 27.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its daily publication, “Shipping Position’’, made available to newsmen on Friday in Lagos.
It said that 13 of the expected ships would arrive the ports with containers, while 10 others would arrive with rice, buckwheat, bulk sugar and frozen fish.
The publication explained that six ships would arrive with general cargo, while the remaining four ships would sail in with petrol, base oil and kerosene.
It stated that 17 ships had arrived the ports with general cargo, foods and petroleum products.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the document showed that six of the ships arrived with rice, while two others sailed in with general cargo.
It indicated that seven ships laden with petrol had also arrived, while two ships brought in containers and diesel. (NAN)
