AS the February elections approach, leadership experts have urged Nigerians to realise that except the country get leaders who are capable of removing the country from the quagmire   of underdevelopment and series of crises   bedeviling her, the country will not move forward.

  The leadership experts, who made the observation at the Niara Inspire-Africa Conference in Lagos, regretted that Nigeria   does have leaders in the true sense of the word.  

  Former Legal Adviser to Transparency International Nigeria, Mr. Benjamin Alika, told The Guardian exclusively that Nigeria’s problems arise from the lacuna created by the fact that the country is not a nation-state, adding that the founding fathers of Nigeria never had faith in the project called Nigeria.
