‘Gov. Elechi Not Working For Jonathan’

DEPUTY Coordinator of Jonathan/ Sambo 2015 Presidential Campaign in Ebonyi state and also Chairman, Ebonyi State PDP Elders Council, Ambassador Frank Ogbuewu yesterday confirmed the insinuation making the rounds in the state that Governor Martin Elechi is not for working for the re-election of President Jonathan and the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state in the forthcoming general election.

  The Former Minister for Culture and Tourism told newsmen in Abakalaiki insisted that the Governor was working for the Labour Party (LP), adding that Elechi has no capacity to make Jonathan lose in Ebonyi state.

   He maintained that Ebonyi state is PDP state and its political situation is unique stressing that this is the first time, where a PDP government is working for opposition, Labour Party, at the state level and also pretending to be working for the PDP presidential candidate.

   Ogbuewu added that the ruling PDP in the state does not need the help of the governor to deliver victory to President Jonathan and all it candidates in the state. He claimed Elechi was not a member of PDP and there is no he can make Jonathan lose in the state.
