Kogi Police Reads Riot Act To Politicians
THE Kogi State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has read the riot act to politicians in the state, warning against the use of thugs and dangerous weapons for terrorizing opponents.
The command vowed to deal with anybody that contravenes the laid down rules and regulations guiding the conduct of election in the country.
The Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Mr Paul Okafor in his address to political stakeholders and candidates of various parties contesting various positions at the command headquarters in Lokoja during the week, pointed out that the workshop was organised by the Command to enlighten stakeholders on the “dos and don’ts’ before, during and after elections.
