NAPPS To Hold Retreat On Leadership

THE National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) will hold a three-day retreat with the theme, “Effective Empowerment Of Schools Through Collaborative Building Capacity and Leadership,” from February 25 to 27 at CMD Magodo, Lagos. 

  NAPPS President, Chief Yomi Otubela (FCMA) said the retreat would focus on collaborative building of organisations, a shared responsibility of all schools and how to translate it into building of individual school for growth and development. 

  The retreat, he said, will enable participants develop requisite skills in school business using collaborative building capacity. 

“Other focus will be on sports/recreation activities, as a tool for self and body development.”

  He said that the participants would be exposed and given adoptable policies for retaining staff members for longer service and productivity.

  “Scheme for effective productivity of staff at places of work will be given. A free training from an international body for teachers/staff or any proprietor that attends the retreat, manual on United Nations (UN) policies against private schools existence will be given,” he said.
