Students endorse Ambode

LAGOS State University (LASU) Students Union Government (SUG) has endorsed the candidature of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode. 

   In a speech during the APC rally in Ojo, the SUG President, Mr. Nurudeen Yusuf, said they have weighed the other contenders for the post before making up their minds about Ambode.

   Nurudeen, who led the students to drum support for Ambode, said their decision was based on the candidate’s experience, competence and integrity, and that they see him as a visionary leader who would listen to their yearnings and aspirations. 

   According to them, Ambode’s 27 years experience will give him edge if eventually voted in as governor to continue the “massive infrastructure development” that would make the university a world class. The students further eulogized his academic achievements as exemplary and look forward to his mentorship as a scholar and their governor.
