The News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) reports that Wamakko also received 7,401 PDP supporters who defected to APC in the area.

The governor advised political leaders to treat every Nigerian equal irrespective of tribe, religion, ethnicity and political differences.

He also warned them against selling their permanent voter cards to selfish politicians, adding that the permanent voter cards remained the only weapon needed by Nigerians to elect leaders of their choice.
