Fubara announces commissioning of projects after Supreme Court judgement

Apparently not perturbed by the Supreme Court judgment, the Rivers State Government has announced a new round of project commissioning to begin on Monday, March 3, 2025.
Rivers State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Joseph Johnson, said critical infrastructure projects spanning multiple sectors will be inaugurated, reflecting Governor Siminalayi Fubara administration’s unwavering
commitment to development, security, and improved service delivery.
Johnson said the commissioning is scheduled to encompass key projects in housing, firefighting and emergency response, security, healthcare, education, and judiciary welfare across Port Harcourt City, Obio/Akpor, Khana, Okrika LGAs, and Bayelsa State.
He said the move is in line with the administration’s avowed commitment to sustainable development
“These projects align with the government’s commitment to infrastructure development, security, education, and improved public service delivery.
“The commissioning will see the active participation of key government officials, community leaders, and stakeholders in various sectors.”
He urged the public to join in celebrating the significant milestones as Fubara’s administration continues to work towards sustainable development, growth, and improved quality of life for all citizens and residents of the State.
