NSCDC arrest paedophile in Bauchi

A 20-year-old resident of Misau Local Government Area (LGA) of Bauchi State, Ibrahim Sadiq, has been arrested by operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)on charges bordering the sexual assault of a minor.

The spokesperson of the Bauchi Command of the NSCDC, Saminu J Yusuf, said that Sadiq had lured a 12-year-old girl into an uncompleted building where he raped her and was arrested in Misau on December 27.

“On 27th DEC, 2024 at Misau Local Government, One Ibrahim Saudiq, Male 20 yrs of Misau, was arrested By NSCDC Personnel, for having forcefully carnal knowledge of A 12 yrs old in an uncompleted building.”

Yusuf further disclosed that Sadiq confessed to having committed the crime during interrogation.

He also noted that the command would soon prosecute him pending the conclusion of the investigation.
