Hospital vows to end medical tourism
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has unveiled the state-of-the-art medical facilities of Iwosan Lagoon Hospitals in Victoria Island, Lagos, as the management vowed to put an end to medical tourism.
The governor, who spoke as a Guest of Honour during the unveiling ceremony, expressed enthusiasm for the impact that Iwosan Lagoon Hospitals is poised to bring to the medical landscape.
Sanwo-Olu said the opening of the facilities, he believed, would mark a significant step towards improving access to high-quality medical care for Lagosians and Nigerians at large.
Co-Founder and CEO of Iwosan Investments Limited, Fola Laoye, reiterated the hospital’s dedication to delivering high-quality and accessible healthcare services across the country.
Managing Director of Iwosan Lagoon Hospital, Victoria Island, Dr Ayobami Kuyoro, during the unveiling, said the aim was to curb medical tourism and provide world-class healthcare in Nigeria.
