The recently opened retail outlet, Shoprite located in Warri was attacked this morning.
Bystanders and witnesses of the attack claim that it is youth restiveness and that the property and goods were being damaged.
While there has been no official confirmation of the attack, social media users who were inside the mall at the time of the attack/invasion say what they saw looked like an armed robbery attack.
Twitter users reported the incident as mad dash of shoppers could be seen exiting the shopping mall and fleeing to safety.
Police investigation reports are expected shortly.
