WAI assures of peace, inaugurates new patron
The War Against Indiscipline (WAI) Brigade of Nigeria has reassured Lagosians of its readiness to aid the state government in maintaining peace and order. This was declared by the Lagos State commander, WAI brigade, Patriot Fredrick Otuokpeyevbo, at the inauguration of the national president of Bus Conductors of Nigeria, Prince Israel Adesola, as the state patron yesterday.
“We are good ambassadors of the country, we believe in the unity of the country we are ready to assist the government on security and environmental issues,” he said.
The celebrator, while giving his speech, implored the cooperation of citizens and residents of Lagos, urging them not to look down on the brigade but consider them as Nigerians that have sacrificed themselves for the growth and development of the state and country at large.
He also encouraged the youths to nurture their dreams, advising them to be patient and do well in whatever they find themselves doing, without resorting to crime.
