…Says Osun Election Outcome Will Be Used To Rewrite Nigeria’s Story In 2027

 

The Action Alliance (AA) 2027 Presidential hopeful, Faduri Oluwadare Joseph, popularly known as Fadojoe, has applauded the Osun State Governor, Ademola Jackson Adeleke, on his victory in the 2026 governorship election, saying that Nigerians would use the 2027 general elections to rewrite the story of Nigeria.

Joseph, who is also the leader of the Rescue Movement for New Nigeria, after the victory recorded by Adeleke, said that the outcome of the Osun election had demonstrated the ability of Nigerians to resist money politics, intimidation and oppression while making independent choices about their political future.

In a message to Nigerians, the presidential hopeful said the resilience displayed by voters in Osun State should serve as an inspiration ahead of the 2027 general elections.

“We will rewrite the story of Nigeria in 2027. We will shock the world in 2027,” he declared.

According to him, Nigerians should draw lessons from what he described as the “resilience, doggedness and resistance” demonstrated by the people of Osun State during the election.

He urged voters to reject attempts to influence their choices through financial inducements and the distribution of food or other material items.

“Nigerians will take the playbook, the resilience, the doggedness, the resistance Osun State people did to say no to money politics, no to rice, no to intimidation, no to oppression, but we will decide our destiny, our fate in 2027,” he stressed.

Fadojoe, who has formally indicated his interest in contesting the 2027 presidential election on the platform of the Action Alliance, said Nigerian youths and women must play a more active role in determining the country’s political future.

He described the two groups as among those who have borne the consequences of poor governance and urged them to resist what he called attempts to perpetuate bad governance through electoral inducements.

“The youths and women of Nigeria who have been at the receiving end of this bad governance in our nation must and would stand to resist the evil,” he said.

The AA presidential hopeful further warned that the 2027 election would not be “business as usual,” insisting that the sharing of money would no longer be enough to determine the choice of Nigerian voters.

“2027 won’t be business as usual. Naira or dollar sharing won’t cut it,” Fadojoe declared.

He expressed confidence that Nigerians would make their position known through the ballot box, saying the country was approaching a defining political moment.

“The people will speak loudly soon. 2027 would be the year of true and real change,” he said.

On the 2027 presidential contest, Fadojoe also reaffirmed his claim to the Action Alliance presidential ticket and called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to correct its records ahead of the election.

He urged the electoral commission to comply with the law and recognise what he described as the authentic leadership of the Action Alliance under Barrister Chief Kenneth Udeze, referring to a declaration by the Court of Appeal.

Faduri called on INEC to do the needful, follow the law and correct their records, allowing the authentic leadership of Action Alliance under the leadership of Barrister Chief Kenneth Udeze, as declared by the Appeal Court, so that the right candidates can reflect on the ballot for 2027.

The AA Presidential hopeful called on Nigerians to prepare for what he described as a historic election, saying: “Nigerians are getting ready to rewrite the story of Nigeria. Yes, we can, and yes, we will.”
