Kogi LG polls begin on peaceful note

The Kogi State Local Government elections slated for today, 19th October 2024, commence on a peaceful note.
Polling units visited across the Kogi Central Senatorial District opened as early as 9:00 AM as scheduled.
At polling unit 4 Odendu/Ukpogoro in Okene Local Government Area, the polling officials arrived as early as 8:45 AM while voting commenced at 9:00 AM.

One of the voters and a former House of Assembly member in Kogi State, Comrade Muhammed Nwaha, commended the early arrival of SIEC officials and the deployment of materials.
The situation in Obehira, Ihima, Obangede, Eika, Ebiya, Eganyi, Adogo, and Ajaokuta, all in Kogi Central, also witnessed the arrival of polling officials and materials.
