Ododo vows to protect Kogi citizens as state clocks 33

Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, has vowed to defend and protect every citizen living within and outside the country against aggression and oppression.

This is just as he paid tributes to leaders whose efforts metamorphosed in the creation of the state on August 27, 1991, by the then Military President, Gen. Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (rtd).

Ododo made the pledge in his message to Kogi people on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the creation of the state.

He said Kogi is replete in history and culture as the Confluence State where Rivers Niger and Benue joined, urging the locals to optimise their diversity to build trust and thrust the state into the heart of the nation.
