The Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle, Tricycle Repairers and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN) has vowed to support the governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Agboola Ajayi, ahead of the forthcoming November 16 gubernatorial election.

According to the leadership of the union, led by Akinlolu Olumorin and Alade Abdul, the association’s network across the state has been activated for Ajayi and his running mate, Festus Akingbaso.

Speaking at a meeting held with the party’s candidate in Akure, the state capital, the leaders said ACOMORAN’s belief in the Agbo/Fessy ticket is that it has the potential to drive meaningful change and progress in the state.

Olumorin said, “The endorsement from ACOMORAN is not just a routine political endorsement; it is a powerful affirmation of the Agbo/Fessy ticket’s vision and capability.

“We believe with ACOMORAN’s support, the Agbo/Fessy campaign can gain access to a vast and engaged network of members, positioned to make a significant impact in every corner of Ondo State.

“The scale of ACOMORAN’s endorsement is reminiscent of previous high-profile endorsements, which are noteworthy given our deep roots and extensive reach across Ondo State.”

Olumorin said the endorsement is expected to galvanise widespread support and mobilise voters, further solidifying the Agbo/Fessy ticket’s position as the leading choice for the November 16, 2024 election.
