Acquire skills, internet fraud is not a business, Uwagboe Gabriel charges youths
Lagos-based rapper, Uwagboe Gabriel, has admonished youths in the society to shun internet scam and be productive in their lives.
Uwagboe said the rate of internet fraud, popularly called “Yahoo Yahoo,” in Nigeria, was fast-rising and needed to be nipped in the bud.
He said the rising cases of internet fraud were giving the country a bad image which is detrimental to our societal development.
He charged the youths to acquire skills that could help improve their lives.
When you engage your hands and brains in acquiring skills, you will not think of making money through illegal means.
If the youths are encouraged through enough sensitization to use their hands to work, we will record a decrease in Internet fraud, he said.
He also charged governments at all levels to make the environment conducive for people who want to invest on their initiatives by providing necessary support needed, especially in financing their projects.
