National Division One League Handball League begins in Benin 

Benin City, Edo State, is the venue of the National Division One Handball League, which started at the weekend and will end on July 29, 2023.

Coming just about two weeks after the phase 1 of Ardova Handball Premier League, Edo State, which is sponsoring the National Division One League, has welcomed teams eager to earn promotion to the top division.

Secretary General of the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN), Mr. Almu Umar Lambu, in a statement, said the participants, who arrived in Benin at the weekend, have started jostling for points in the competition that will end on July 28, while the teams are expected to depart from Benin on July 29.

The top two teams in the men and women’s categories would be promoted to the 2024 Ardova Handball Premier League.
