Prophet Samuel Kayode, founder and global head of Faith Chambers of Praise International Ministry, has said that his transition from secular work to ministry is a testament of God’s unfailing faithfulness and abiding grace.

According to Prophet Samuel Kayode, his journey into the ministry began in 2002, while he was still in school.

“I received a divine instruction to take people to the prayer mountain and pray with them,” he recounted.

“Although I didn’t fully understand the reason behind this instruction, I obeyed and started taking people to the mountain for prayers”, added Samuel Kayode.

Prophet Samuel Kayode noted that his obedience to what he described as “God’s instruction” marked the beginning of his transition from secular work to ministry.

“As I continued to pray and seek God’s guidance, He instructed me to start the Prophetic Mercy Hours program in 2010.

“The program, which began with a small group of people, eventually grew and expanded to other locations.”

Prophet Samuel Kayode shared a testimony of how God used him to heal a corps member who was going through mental-related issues during his National Youth Service Corps camp in 2006.

“On this faithful day, September 15, something just led me to take the guy to the parade ground and hold his hand to pray with him, and I did so,” Samuel Kayode recounted.

“Then I saw a vision for the first time that a statue came out of him and caught fire; and almost immediately, he fell down and was on the ground for some minutes.”

Today, Prophet Samuel Kayode’s ministry continues to grow, with various programmes and services held across different locations in Lagos.

“We hold services on Sundays at 4-6 pm at Ikorodu, Elite Event Centre, and also on Sunday mornings at Lekki from 10 am to 12 pm,” he said.

“We also have a Thursday morning service at Ilupeju in Obanikoro from 7-10 am, and another program called the all-white service, which we started in 2017.”

Prophet Samuel Kayode emphasized the importance of these programmes, stating that “the Prophetic Mercy Hours program is designed to provide a platform for people to receive mercy and forgiveness from God.” He also noted that “the all-white service is a special programme where we come together to pray and seek God’s face for recovery, relocation, and fruitfulness.”

As Prophet Samuel Kayode looks to the future, he remains committed to spreading the gospel and empowering people to fulfill their destinies.

“I am grateful to God for His mercy and grace. I will continue to trust in God’s faithfulness and guidance, knowing that He will always lead me aright.”
