Psalm 27:13 “I had fainted, unless I HAD BELIEVED TO SEE THE GOODNESS OF THE LORD in the land of the living”.

WE live in a world that is full of negative happenings. Negative news travel faster than the positive ones. In our contemporary world, people are more attracted to negative junk news than good news. No wonder, junk/yellow journalism is thriving. It has been established that only positive people are the ones that will make great impact in our negative world. From Biblical history, those who were positive and chose to believe God were the ones that made impact in their generation. Our God is absolutely very positive. Jehovah does not take side with negativity. It is shocking to note that out of about 6 million people that left Egypt and designated for the Land of promise, ONLY TWO made it. Numbers 14:24 “But my servant Caleb, because HE HAD ANOTHER SPIRIT with him, and hath followed Me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.” The Word of God declared that the two people — Caleb and Joshua, who made it to the Promised Land, had another spirit – a distinctive positive spirit. They refused to be negative. They chose to believe God in the face of overwhelming circumstances. Caleb and Joshua took sides with God and His Word. Others were negative, as they exaggerated and amplified their negative circumstances. Numbers 13: 32-33 “And they brought up AN EVIL REPORT of the land, which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, IS A LAND THAT EATETH UP THE INHABITANTS THEREOF; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.” You cannot go far in life if you are TOO NEGATIVE. Our walk with God is a walk of faith. 2 Corinthians 5:7 “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” We are expected to positively believe God in spite of negative circumstances. Apostle Thomas was shut out of fellowship with JESUS for weeks because he was walking by sight. John 20:29 “Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen Me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that HAVE NOT SEEN, AND YET HAVE BELIEVED.” Our God is a positive God. When you walk positively by faith, you will reach Him and He will reach you. Do not always go for the negative side of issues. To the pure, all things are pure. Titus 1:15 “Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.” All things are possible to those who believe. Be a positive person in a negative world. John 11:40 “Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest BELIEVE, thou shouldest SEE THE GLORY OF GOD?” Luke 1:45 “And blessed is she that believed: for there SHALL BE A PERFORMANCE of those things, which were told her from the LORD.” Be an unrepentant optimist. Don’t ever be a chronic pessimist. There shall be a performance of God’s Words and Promises in your life. Your healing, progress, prosperity, long life and breakthrough had been guaranteed. Choose to believe God. It shall be done unto you according to your faith.

PRAYER: Today, I take a positive stand in the Name of JESUS.  JESUS is the LORD of Life, I am born of God. I refuse to walk by sight. I believe God and His Words in spite of negative circumstances. I am a positive believer. I have the Spirit of faith. I will trust God and not be negative.
