God wants to take us to the Next Level of His plans for us, but we must position ourselves. The word “position” means, “a place where someone or something is located or has been put.” It further means, to stay in a place where God can help us.

Providence, at times, positions us in a location where God will meet with us. Other times, it is the result of a deliberate action. I have just read an article titled, “God Will Use Your Enemy To Take You To The Destination He Planned For You.”

A Christian was victimised in the university and later sent to Kebbi State, one of the least developed states. At Dakingari, he met a Nigerian Senator, who supported him to travel to the US to further his studies. Today, he has a Ph.D. in Forensic and Information Technology.

Providence positioned the following people: Peter by the Sea of Tiberas where Jesus met him; Blind Bartimaeus by the street corner in Jericho where Jesus passed; Zacheaus on top of a tree where Jesus saw him; and the man by the pool of Bethsaida where Jesus visited.

Faith in God positions us for the miraculous. All those who received miracles from God exercised faith to some degree. God loves and blesses those who trust Him and His word. Hebrews 11:6,7 reads: “And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that he is real and that he rewards the faith of those who passionately seek him. Faith opened Noah’s heart to receive revelation and warnings from God about what was coming, even things that had never been seen. But he stepped out in reverent obedience to God and built an ark that would save him and his family…” (Hebrews11: 6-7 TPT).

Our faith in God connects us with God. Peter connected with God when he said: “But Simon answered and said to Him, ‘Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.’ And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking,” (Luke 5:5-6 NKJV).

Peter’s faith in God’s word took him to the next level of God’s plan for his life. No man can move forward in life without faith. Faith connects us with God and elevates us to God’s plan for our lives.

Faith aligns us with God’s will; it helps us to obey God. Faith helps us to follow God wherever He leads us. It is for the same reason of faith Abraham was called the father of nations. He believed in God and his faith was accounted as righteousness. Abraham waited in faith for 25 years before Isaac was born. By faith, he willingly obeyed God to sacrifice his only son, Isaac.

Commenting on this, Paul had this to say, “…In spite of being nearly one hundred years old when the promise of having a son was made, his faith was so strong that it could not be undermined by the fact that he and Sarah were incapable of conceiving a child. He never stopped believing God’s promise, for he was made strong in his faith to father a child. And because he was mighty in faith and convinced that God had all the power needed to fulfill his promises, Abraham glorified God!…” (Romans 4:18-22 TPT).
Learn to walk in faith, it will elevate you to the next level.
