Huawei P8… to counter cheap, low quality product perception
THE Country Manager, Consumer Business Group, Huawei Nigeria, House Yang, has said that its company would keep consistently engaging the people with quality products to correct the notion that its products are just Chinese products that are cheap and of low quality.
Speaking at the launch of Huawei P8, its latest smartphone offering, Yang said though they are proud of their Chinese origin, they are a global brand and its being among the top three brands in the smartphone market testifies to that.
He further said that Huawei P8 was a product from its London design centre, one of its 16 research and development centres globally. According to him, the new offering stands out because it was a product guided by its philosophy of not just marketing but high end and technology products, reason it would never compromise on quality. He said that consumer insight gave birth to the product as it is meant to ensure that consumers have better experience. He also stated that because they consistently want the best for consumer in terms of experience through coming up with innovative product reason 70 per cent of its staff are into research.
Also, the Senior Marketing Manager, Consumer Business Group, Olaonipekun Okunowo, said that with the array of features embedded in the phone, it hopes to be the most respected premium brand in the world. “Huawei P8 takes beauty to the next level, striking a flawless balance of artistry and creativity.
