Ex-A’Ibom tourism commissioner lauds Eno over Yuletide programme success
Former Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Sir Charles Udoh, has commended Governor Umo Eno for the overwhelming success of the Christmas Unplugged Season 2.0 recorded in the state, even as he presented gifts to retirees of the ministry.
Udoh gave the commendation in Uyo during a send-off party organised by the ministry to celebrate longest serving staff, as well as officially receive the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Grace Akpan.
The former tourism commissioner said the tripartite event was a mark of appreciation to all concerned persons who had made invaluable contributions towards the successes of the ministry and the state within the period of his sojourn in the ministry.
He expressed deep gratitude to the governor for the support and encouragement given to him and his team, without which the success of the Christmas Unplugged Season 2.0 wouldn’t have been recorded.
Writing on his Facebook page, he said: “Nothing beats the feelings of having your boss to appreciate your little efforts.”
While eulogising Eno on the gains of the Christmas Unplugged Season 2.0, Udoh said the sights and sounds of the Local Council component of the event showcased the rich cultural heritage of Akwa Ibom people, including the cuisines, dressing and displays which places the state on a high pedestal as a tourism hub of Nigeria.
