Kaduna declares three-day holiday for voters registration
The Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has declared a three-day holiday for citizens to complete their personal voters’ card (PVC) registration exercise before 31 July.
This was announced in a statement by the governor’s spokesman, Muyiwa Adekeye on Tuesday.
The Kaduna government stated that the public holiday will start from Wednesday, July 27 to Friday, July 29.
Adekeye disclosed that employers based in the state should actively support their employees to register before the PVC registration deadline on Sunday.
He also urged eligible residents of the state to use the holiday to register and be able to vote in the coming election.
