If there is anything worth knowing about fashion, it is the fact that it evolves from season to season. What works today may not work tomorrow and what didn’t work yesterday may just work today or even tomorrow.
This is the case with the fashion evolution of wearing suits on sneakers which became more pronounced when the All Progressives Congress (APC) Vice Presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima showed up at the 2022 Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) annual conference in suit and sneakers.
Consequently, Nigerians, especially men, have been keying into this style, which isn’t only trending but also looks good after all.
Prior to this, wearing sneakers on a suit would ordinarily seem like a low sense of fashion as a suit is worn as a corporate outfit alongside a corporate leather shoe, hence sneakers on a suit were a No. But now, fashion evolution has changed the narrative.
